MOREHEAD, Ky. — Families looking for a place to celebrate Independence Day are invited to American Legion Post 126 for an afternoon and evening of food, entertainment, and fireworks.
The celebration will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, at American Legion Post 126, located at 140 American Legion Way in Morehead.
Organizers have planned activities throughout the day for all ages. Guests can enjoy a variety of food, live music, bounce houses for children, games and activities, and cold drinks before the evening concludes with a fireworks display after dark.
This year's celebration also recognizes America's 250th birthday, adding to the patriotic atmosphere of the annual Independence Day event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and spend the day with family, friends, and neighbors.
The event is open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend.
Whether you're looking for family-friendly activities during the afternoon or a place to watch fireworks after sunset, American Legion Post 126 hopes to provide a full day of community celebration honoring America's independence.
