EZEL, Ky. — The Blackwater Volunteer Fire Department is inviting the community out for an evening of food, fellowship, and fundraising this Saturday.
The department will host a Fish Fry Fundraiser on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Blackwater Volunteer Fire Department, located at 14123 Highway 460 West in Ezel.
Plates will be available for $15 each, with both dine-in and carryout options offered.
Each meal includes:

Hushpuppies
Coleslaw
Baked beans
Dessert
Drink
In addition to the meal, attendees can take part in a cake and pie auction, adding a fun community element to the event while helping raise additional funds for the department.
Organizers are also extending an open invitation to local political candidates, encouraging them to attend and meet with members of the public during the event.
