OWINGSVILLE, Ky. — Emergency crews responded to a fatal motorcycle crash Sunday morning along Interstate 64 near the 118-mile marker.
According to the Owingsville Fire Department, a single motorcycle was involved in the incident. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have identified the victim as a 60-year-old female from Mt. Sterling, Ky.
As of earlier reports, one lane of traffic was blocked while crews worked to clear the scene. The road has since reopened.
