What began as a way to earn a little extra income while staying home with her family has grown into a thriving small business built on a passion for discovering unique treasures and connecting them with new owners.
For Crista Beamon, owner and curator of The Little Lantern Jewelry & Antiques, the journey started with weekend yard sales and an eye for items that deserved a second chance. She quickly developed a love for uncovering vintage and antique pieces with history, character, and charm.
When the COVID-19 pandemic changed the way people shopped, Beamon saw an opportunity to expand. She launched an online store, turning what had been a side hobby into a growing business serving customers across the country.
Today, The Little Lantern Jewelry & Antiques offers a carefully curated selection of vintage, antique, and pre-owned jewelry, collectibles, glassware, home décor, and other one-of-a-kind treasures. New inventory is added regularly, giving returning customers something new to discover with every visit.
As the business continues to grow, Beamon recently expanded by opening a booth at the Peddlers Mall, providing local shoppers another opportunity to browse her ever-changing collection in person.
"I love helping people find something special," Beamon said. "Whether it's the perfect gift, a family heirloom, or a unique piece to add to their collection, every item is carefully selected with that goal in mind."
The Little Lantern Jewelry & Antiques focuses on offering quality merchandise at affordable prices while preserving the beauty and history found in vintage and antique pieces. From timeless jewelry to distinctive collectibles and home décor, the shop offers something for seasoned collectors and casual shoppers alike.
Beamon says she is grateful for the support her small business has received and looks forward to continuing to grow while helping customers discover their next favorite treasure.
