JACKSON, Ky. — A court proceeding involving two defendants charged in connection with the death of a Breathitt County child has been postponed once again.
A pretrial conference for Felicia Gross and Joshua Gross had been scheduled for June 16. However, court records indicate the hearing has been rescheduled, marking the third delay in the case. The next pretrial conference is now set for August 7.
Felicia Gross faces a murder charge related to the death of her 10-year-old son, Jayden Spicer. The child was found deceased in August 2025 after authorities and community members spent more than a week searching for him following his reported disappearance.
Joshua Gross, Felicia Gross's husband, is also facing charges connected to the investigation, including complicity-related allegations.
The case remains pending in the Kentucky court system, with additional proceedings expected later this summer.
