Authorities in Grayson are investigating an alleged assault involving an elderly woman that occurred Thursday night in the Sunset Hill area.
According to initial information, emergency responders were dispatched to the area at approximately 9:42 p.m. on May 7, 2026, following reports that a 76-year-old female had allegedly been assaulted and thrown down a flight of stairs. The victim reportedly suffered numerous injuries during the incident.
At approximately 10:07 p.m., authorities reportedly took the alleged suspect into custody.
