MOREHEAD, Ky. — Community members will have the opportunity to get their vehicles cleaned while supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders during an upcoming fundraiser hosted by the Elliott County FFA Chapter.
The chapter will hold a car wash on Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Advance Auto Parts in Morehead.
According to organizers, proceeds from the fundraiser will help cover expenses for student activities, including leadership camp, competitions, convention trips, agricultural education opportunities, and other chapter programs.
FFA members say every vehicle washed helps invest in the future of local students by providing opportunities to develop leadership, career, and life skills through hands-on agricultural education.
Residents are encouraged to bring their cars, trucks, or SUVs for a wash while supporting the chapter's educational mission. Donations of any amount are appreciated, and those who are unable to attend but would still like to support the fundraiser may contact chapter advisor MaKayla Lewis to make a direct contribution.
The event offers a simple way for the community to support local students while helping them continue participating in programs that build confidence, leadership, and career readiness.
