SANDY HOOK, Ky. — Elliott County Schools has announced the appointment of Jennifer Turner as the new principal of Elliott County Intermediate School.
In a letter released Monday, Superintendent Dolly Fannin said Turner brings extensive experience within the Elliott County school system and has demonstrated a strong commitment to student success, meaningful relationships, and high academic standards throughout her career.
According to the announcement, Turner has served in multiple roles within the district and is recognized for her dedication to education and leadership. School officials believe those qualities make her well-suited to lead Elliott County Intermediate School.
As principal, Turner will be responsible for supporting students, staff, and families while continuing efforts to strengthen the school's culture and promote academic achievement. District leaders expressed confidence that her leadership will help foster a positive learning environment and contribute to the continued success of the school community.
"We are excited to welcome Mrs. Turner back to Elliott County Schools in this leadership role," Fannin said in the announcement. "We look forward to the positive impact she will have on our students and community."
School officials encouraged the community to join them in congratulating Turner as she begins her new position.
