OLIVE HILL — Residents from Olive Hill and surrounding communities are invited to help welcome a new local business this weekend as The Hot Dog Depot celebrates its official Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at 561 E. Tom T. Hall Boulevard in Olive Hill. The celebration is being promoted by the Olive Hill Area Chamber of Commerce, which is encouraging the community to come out and support the city's newest business.

According to the Chamber, guests can expect great food and a chance to celebrate the restaurant's official opening. The business has adopted a railroad theme with the slogan, "All Aboard for Great Taste!", inviting customers to "come hungry" for the festivities.

Ribbon cuttings are an important milestone for new businesses, marking not only the official opening of a location but also highlighting continued investment and economic growth within the community.

Community members are encouraged to stop by, meet the owners, and show their support for another locally owned business in northeastern Kentucky.
