MOREHEAD, Ky. — Local residents looking to expand their leadership skills and become more involved in the community now have an opportunity to do just that.
The Morehead-Rowan County Chamber of Commerce has announced that applications are now being accepted for the Leadership Morehead Class of 2026-2027.
The program is designed to help participants develop leadership abilities, build professional relationships, and gain a deeper understanding of the organizations, industries, and community resources that help drive Morehead and Rowan County forward.
Through a series of educational sessions and networking opportunities, participants will have the chance to learn directly from local leaders while exploring key aspects of the community. The goal is to prepare and inspire future leaders to make a positive and lasting impact throughout the region.
Applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026.

According to organizers, the selected members of the 2026-2027 Leadership Morehead class will be announced by the end of July.
Community members interested in applying can obtain an application through the Morehead-Rowan County Chamber of Commerce.
