Voters in Kentucky's 4th Congressional District will have another choice on the ballot this November after Libertarian candidate Jeremy Todd announced that his campaign has successfully obtained the signatures necessary to qualify for the 2026 General Election.

According to Todd's campaign, more than 30 volunteers worked across the district over a 12-day period to collect the signatures required for ballot access. Campaign officials report that more than 750 signatures were gathered during the effort.

Todd, who is running as the Libertarian nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives, said the petition drive reflected a desire among some voters for additional options beyond the traditional two-party candidates.

"Our district has spoken clearly," Todd said in a statement released Tuesday. "This campaign is about giving voters a voice and ensuring that Kentucky voters have another choice on the ballot."

The campaign says Todd's platform focuses on limited government, fiscal responsibility, individual liberty, and reducing federal spending. Among the issues highlighted by the campaign are efforts to reduce the national debt, limit the influence of special interests in government, and reevaluate U.S. involvement in foreign conflicts.

Todd's entry into the race comes following a closely watched Republican primary in Kentucky's 4th Congressional District. His campaign argues that some voters are seeking alternatives outside the traditional political establishment and hopes to attract support from independent-minded voters across Northern and Eastern Kentucky.

The 4th Congressional District stretches across a large portion of Northern Kentucky and includes several counties along the Ohio River. While Rowan County is located in Kentucky's 5th Congressional District and will not vote in this race, the contest is expected to draw attention statewide as candidates begin preparing for the November election.

Todd's campaign has indicated that volunteer recruitment and voter outreach efforts will continue throughout the summer and fall leading up to Election Day.
