OLIVE HILL, Ky. — Local country music entertainer Tristen Moore is looking to take the next step in his growing music career — and he’s searching for musicians who want to take that journey with him.
Moore, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, is currently seeking musicians to form his own backing band as he works to expand his live performances and pursue additional opportunities throughout Eastern Kentucky and the surrounding region.
Currently, Moore performs primarily using professional backing tracks. Building a full band would allow him to expand his live show while opening the door to different types of venues, festivals and other performance opportunities.
Moore is currently looking for two guitarists, a drummer and a bass player, with the possibility of adding a keyboardist as well.
The goal isn't simply to assemble musicians for an occasional performance. Moore hopes to find dependable people who are interested in rehearsing together, developing a strong live show and growing as a group.
“I’m ready to take the next step in my music journey by putting together my own band,” Moore said. “I’m looking for talented, dependable musicians who are serious about making music and performing live.”
Moore has been steadily working to build his name throughout the region through live appearances and performances. Most recently, he competed in the Small Town America Festival talent competition, where he finished second.
The formation of his own band would represent another major step in that effort.
For musicians interested in joining, experience is certainly valuable, but reliability, commitment and the ability to work well with others will also be important.
