FRENCHBURG, Ky. — Menifee County is investing in the future of emergency medical services with the groundbreaking of a new training and educational facility for Menifee County EMS.
Menifee County Fiscal Court announced the groundbreaking of the Menifee County EMS Training and Educational Institute, a project designed to expand training opportunities for both current emergency medical personnel and future providers.
The new classroom addition will allow Menifee County EMS to conduct training and continuing education on site, giving personnel greater access to the education needed to maintain and expand their emergency medical skills.
County officials say the facility will also be used to help train the next generation of EMTs and paramedics, potentially creating a more accessible pathway for people interested in entering emergency medical services while strengthening the local workforce.
“This is more than a new classroom, it’s an investment in our EMS personnel, our future providers, and ultimately, the people of Menifee County,” the Fiscal Court said in announcing the project.
The county described the project as part of an effort to build a stronger future for emergency medical services in the community.
Menifee County Judge-Executive Hector Alcala, EMS Director Sam Rogers, and a representative of contractor Appalachian Flow were pictured as part of the groundbreaking announcement.
The Fiscal Court did not provide a projected completion date or total cost for the project in its announcement.
