MOREHEAD, KY — The Morehead History and Railroad Museum is inviting the community to join in celebrating a major milestone.
On May 16, the museum will mark its 10-year anniversary with a special event held on-site from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The celebration will feature light refreshments, a raffle, and free merchandise giveaways, including museum pens.
Since opening its doors, the museum has played an important role in preserving and sharing the region’s rich history. Exhibits and programs have highlighted significant local stories such as the Rowan County War, the development of the Morehead and North Fork Railroad, and the founding of St. Claire Regional Hospital.
Organizers say the anniversary event is both a celebration of the past decade and a way to thank the community for its continued support.
The public is invited to attend and take part in honoring ten years of preserving Morehead and Rowan County history.
