MOREHEAD, KY — The Morehead Police Department is recognizing a major achievement by one of Rowan County’s emergency responders.

Braxton Creekmore, a dispatcher with Morehead-Rowan County 911, has officially graduated from Class 171 of the Public Safety Dispatch Academy through Kentucky’s Department of Criminal Justice Training.

The academy provides specialized instruction designed to prepare dispatchers for the fast-paced and high-pressure responsibilities of emergency communications. Dispatchers often serve as the vital connection between the public and first responders during emergencies, accidents, and other critical situations.

Officials praised Creekmore for his dedication and commitment to serving the citizens of Rowan County and the surrounding area.
