Customers of the Morehead Utility Plant Board who previously paid their utility bills through automatic bank draft will need to make a change to how they submit future payments.

In a notice issued by the utility, the Morehead Utility Plant Board announced that it is no longer processing automatic bank draft payments.

Customers are instead being directed to use the Customer Portal on the utility's website to pay their bills. To access the portal, customers will need their CID number, which can be found on their monthly utility bill.

Those who are unable to locate their CID number are encouraged to contact the Morehead Utility Plant Board office at 606-784-5538 for assistance.

The utility thanked customers for their cooperation as the change takes effect.
