WEST LIBERTY, Ky. — A day of family-friendly fun and community support is on the calendar as Morgan County prepares to host the Morgan County Fire & Rescue Fun Fest later this month.

The event, organized by Morgan County Emergency Management, will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Morgan County Fairgrounds, located at 400 New Fairground Road in West Liberty. An official start time has not yet been announced, with organizers noting that more details will be released soon.

The Fun Fest is designed to bring the community together while supporting the county’s volunteer fire and rescue departments—groups that play a critical role in protecting lives and property across the region.

Attendees can expect a full day of activities, including:

  • Live music

  • Food and drinks

  • Kids activities

  • Raffles and giveaways

  • Fire trucks and emergency equipment displays

Organizers say the event is meant to highlight the dedication of local first responders while also providing a fun, relaxed environment for families.

“All proceeds will benefit our county fire and rescue departments,” organizers noted, emphasizing that the event supports multiple volunteer agencies working together under one mission.

The event will feature participation from several departments across Morgan County, reinforcing the theme: “One community. Six departments. Countless lives protected.”

Community members are encouraged to attend, bring their families, and show support for the men and women who serve on the front lines every day.

More information, including the official event schedule, is expected to be announced in the coming days.
