MOREHEAD, KY — An Owingsville couple has been arrested on child abuse charges, according to information published by the Rowan County Detention Center.
The detention center's inmate roster identifies Shane Dufresne, 32, of Owingsville, and Angel Dufresne, 27, of Owingsville, as being charged with Criminal Abuse, First Degree – Child 12 or Under.
According to the detention center, both individuals were arrested on June 25, 2026, by the Kentucky State Police. The inmate roster indicates each defendant is being held on an open case, with no bond amount listed at the time of publication.
The Rowan County Detention Center lists the offense date and arrest date for both individuals as June 25, 2026.
