MOREHEAD, Ky. — Rowan County has announced the selection of its next Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Director.
Mr. Levi Hanshaw will assume the role of EMS Director in September, bringing nearly two decades of experience in emergency medical services to the position.
Hanshaw is no stranger to Rowan County EMS, having previously served with the agency before spending the past several years with the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services in Frankfort. His background includes both frontline EMS experience and work at the state level, providing him with a broad perspective on emergency medical care and administration.
County officials say Hanshaw's experience and familiarity with the organization make him a strong addition to the administrative leadership team at Rowan County EMS.
The Morehead Minute congratulates Mr. Hanshaw on his appointment and wishes him success as he begins his new role serving the residents of Rowan County.
