MOREHEAD, Ky. — A Morehead woman is facing multiple charges following her arrest by the Rowan County Sheriff's Office late Friday night.
According to booking information from the Rowan County Detention Center, Chelsea Prater, 26, of Morehead, was arrested on July 25, 2026, and booked into the detention center at 11:58 p.m.
Prater has been charged with:
Strangulation, Second Degree (Domestic Violence Related)
Assault, Fourth Degree (Domestic Violence) – Minor Injury
Detention center records indicate both cases remain open. A $5,000 cash bond has been set in the case.
The Rowan County Sheriff's Office is listed as the arresting agency.
