LEXINGTON, Ky. — Appalachian Mountain Wrestling (AMW) is preparing for what it calls its biggest event of the summer as SummerBash 2026 comes to the Lexington Ice Center on Sunday, June 14.
The card is headlined by a championship showdown featuring former WWE and TNA star Nic Nemeth, known to many wrestling fans as Dolph Ziggler, challenging Marty Clay for the AMW Championship.
Nemeth enjoyed a lengthy and successful run in WWE, where he captured multiple championships and became one of the company's most recognizable performers. Since departing WWE, he has continued competing at a high level and is currently featured in TNA Wrestling.
In addition to the main event, several championship matches and grudge bouts are scheduled for the evening.
"The Prospector" Wes Barker will challenge Chase Emery for the AMW Southeastern Championship, while "Marvelous" Marcus Johnson faces Stan Sierra in a match for the New South Championship.
Fans can also expect a hard-hitting Street Fight when Kyle Maggard squares off against "Heatseeker" Elliott Russell.
Tag team gold will be on the line as The Faction defends against the team of Corey Sparks and Dylan Stewart.

AMW officials have also announced that "Beautiful" Billy Maverick will be in attendance. While no specific match has been confirmed for Maverick, organizers say fans can expect him to make his presence felt during the event.
